$55 Savings Booklet from Kraft Foods

Posted by: Vicki Powers on Monday, July 6th, 2009

SAVING THE BIG BUCKS!  I just signed up to receive the free “Pack a Kraft Smile” calendar & savings booklet.  I can always use another calendar around the house… But it’s the savings booklet that interests me most. It includes two $20 rebates & $15 worth of coupons for Nabisco, Planters, Capri Sun, Ritz Bitz, & Easy Cheese products.

The booklet arrives in four to six weeks, so I’ll find out then how beneficial it is. Per the fine print, limit one booklet per family or address, while supplies last. Sign up here for your Kraft calendar and savings booklet.

Thanks to our friends at Cities on the Cheap for this tip!

I did the same yesterday. Ilovefreethings.com is a site that I also use.

While it’s a great find for some folks to be able to save that much, I wouldn’t characterize those products as being “perfect for school lunches” unless you like to feed your kids garbage. Most of those Nabisco, Capri Sun, Ritz Bitz, Easy Cheese are not healthy foods for children. Some of them are downright dangerous.

Thanks for sharing your comments. Yep, “perfect for school lunches” is probably not the best term, so I removed it. I wasn’t touting them as healthy food — they are “handy” for school lunches when you want to throw in an occasional treat…

Vicki,
I would appreciate if you can find some good deals for school supplies. I have three elementary kids and struggling financially at the moment.

Thanks for all the great tips.
