Cinema Arts Festival Houston November 11-15
IT’S A FIRST in Houston! The 2009 Cinema Arts Festival Houston kicks off today, November 11 through November 15, at various cultural locales throughout Houston’s downtown and Museum District areas. This event features innovative cinema, new media, and mixed-media performances. The historic Alabama Theatre serves as the official festival headquarters as well as the housing of H Box, a portable screening room featuring rotating videos by 10 diverse artists. Opening night features “Precious” at 7 p.m. at Angelika Film Center and “Me and Orson Welles” at 8 p.m. at Museum of Fine Arts. Check out the complete calendar here for all the films and free panels.
