Dewberry Farm: Free Admission, Cut Your Own Christmas Tree

Posted by: Vicki Powers on Friday, November 27th, 2009

START A NEW FAMILY tradition at Dewberry Farm this year… For the first time, this country farm will be open to cut-your-own-Christmas tree.  Beginning today, November 27, families can hit the farm to enjoy the outdoor farm activities and select the perfect Christmas tree.  More than 3,000 Christmas trees are for sale with something for every budget.  Admission is free to visit the farm, and families will take a hay ride back to the Christmas tree area to browse the options.  Hours are Fridays (noon to dusk), Saturdays (10 a.m. to dusk) and Sundays (noon to dusk) through December 13 (or sooner if the trees run out!).  Get all the details and tree descriptions available here.  Dewberry Farm is located in Brookshire off FM529 and Hwy. 362. Check out the official map here.

Free admission to a sales lot? Seriously?

I love this blog, but hope you’ll prune this raspberry.

Save a tree full of life or buy one that has already been chopped. :-) What would Santa do? :-)
