Free Cooking Classes, Taste Fairs at Whole Foods

A variety of free classes and taste fairs are on the spring calendar at Houston’s four Whole Foods Markets.  Here is a snapshot of some freebies at this healthy grocery retailer:

March 20
Free Kid’s Cooking Class (Bellaire location), 11 a.m. — Kids will enjoy a hands-on cooking class (and lunch) at this Saturday event.  RSVP to this free class to brittany.rogers@wholefoods.com

Local Taste Fair (Woodway location), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Support local farmers and producers at this local taste fair.

Great Smoothie Contest (Wilcrest location), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Sample and vote for your favorite smoothie as Whole Foods’ team members compete in this smoothie recipe contest.

March 27
Local Taste Fair (Wilcrest location), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Support local farmers and producers at this local taste fair.

Easter Food and Fun (Bellaire location), 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. — Sample Easter foods throughout the store.  Kids can get their photo with the Easter Bunny.

March 28
Cooking with Chef Mike (Wilcrest location), 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. — Learn roasting and grilling with top round sirloin as Chef Mike partners with the meat team.
