Free Mammograms Wednesdays in October
As part of “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” next month, Park Plaza Hospital is giving Free Screening Mammograms on Wednesdays in October. The Outpatient Imaging Center at 1200 Binz is the place. Limited appointments are available so call today if you’re interested: 1.866.724.2362. Mammograms are recommended annually for women 40 and older.

hello!! im 22 years old and i have never had a mammograma before. i have felt a lump recently and wanted to get it checked out asap! i was wondering will it still be free since im not 40 years old?? thank you

Called but because i have a lump i do not quialify i am over 40 in school fulltime, no insurance ,wondering where else i could go???

I am 36 years old and I have a lump. Do I still qualify for a mammogram?

Angela mentioned in a comment above that she called to make an appointment and women don’t qualify if they have a lump. I don’t have medical expertise — I was just reporting this free opportunity. You might call and ask if they have suggestions on what else you could do. Good luck.

Well I just called for and appointment because I felt a lump and didn’t qualify because I’m under the age of 40.
