Free Noon Concert by Jazz Artist Ben Allison 2/3
ENJOY A NOONTIME concert this Wednesday, February 3, for Da Camera’s continuing series, A Little Day Music. This month’s performance features jazz bassist Ben Allison and violinist Jenny Scheinman. A Little Day Music is held the first Wednesday of each month, October through May, and features a variety of live music. The organization’s mission is to make chamber music and jazz accessible to everyone and part of every day life. The free monthly performance is held in the Wortham Theater Center lobby at 500 Texas at Smith, 713.524.5050.
Ben Allison and his band also will be performing a free “side by side” performance this Friday, February 5, with student musicians from the High School For The Performing And Visual Arts (HSPVA). The performance begins at 7:30 p.m., HSPVA, 4001 Stanford.
