Kid’s Market Day at Bayou City Farmers Market March 28
KID’S MARKET DAY at Bayou City Farmers Market helps kids learn where their food REALLY comes from. Students from Urban Harvest‘s after school program will be selling their produce this Saturday, March 28, along with more than 35 regular market vendors. Plenty of fun family activities are available from 8 a.m. to noon– scavenger hunt, face painting, potting activity, live music, baby animals, cooking demonstrations, crafts, and more.
Bayou City Farmers Market offers locally-produced vegetables, fruits, and farm products every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at 3000 Richmond (between Kirby and Buffalo Speedway). The Market not only supports family farms but also boosts the local economy since all produce is grown within 180 miles of Houston.
