As you’re likely aware, certain items are hard to get right now. Toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and more are nowhere to be found on store shelves. For that reason, H-E-B has placed strict limits on items that are experiencing a shortage.
Well, it turns out that’s not all the company is doing to combat hoarding behaviors.
If you take a look at H-E-B’s refund policy, you’ll notice a new addendum front and center. The store will no longer offer refunds for items people purchased in anticipation of shortages due to coronavirus:
The company has experienced such demand that it’s had to hire temporary workers to keep up. H-E-B has also given its partners a temporary $2 an hour raise to thank them for their hard work during this time.
