1. Student/Educator Discount for Alley Theatre Tickets

Discounted tickets are available for students of all ages with a valid student ID and educators with a valid school ID. These tickets cost $17 for off-peak performances, which include Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturday matinees, and Sunday evenings. For peak performances, including Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday matinees, and Opening Nights, tickets are $29 in the A and B Seating areas.

2. Military Discount for Alley Theatre Tickets

The Alley Theatre honors military service members in the community by offering discounted tickets. Active duty personnel, veterans, and their immediate families can enjoy performances for $29 during off-peak times (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturday matinees, and Sunday evenings). Peak performances (Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday matinees, Opening Nights) are available for $35.

Discounted seating is located in sections A and B. Tickets can be purchased online using the promotion code MILITARY77, by phone at 713.220.5700, or in person at Guest Services.

3. Senior Discount for Alley Theatre Tickets

Patrons aged 65 and over can enjoy discounted tickets to performances. Off-peak shows (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturday matinees, and Sunday evenings) are available for $29, while peak performances (Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday matinees, Opening Nights) cost $35. These senior discounts apply to seats in Sections A and B.

4. Playwrights Welcome

The Alley Theatre participates in the Playwrights Welcome program, offering Dramatists Guild of America members free access to certain performances. Two complimentary tickets are available in B-Section seating, excluding Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees.

Tickets can be reserved on the day of the performance starting at noon. Call guest services at 713.220.5700 or visit in person. Availability is limited and seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Writers must show their Dramatists Guild membership card to claim tickets.
