All About the Alvin Christmas Train
Each year, hundreds of volunteers come together to bring the magic of Christmas to life. The Alvin Christmas Train, a beloved tradition since 2000, offers a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
Victory Camp, founded in 1992 with the mission of reaching the next generation, has been the winter home of the Christmas Train for over two decades. In 1999, “Old Smokey,” a train from the San Antonio Zoo, found its new home at Victory Camp, marking the beginning of The Christmas Train, an annual holiday celebration.
Christmas Train Alvin TX Schedule
This year, kick off your Alvin Train Texas Christmas on Thursday, November 29, and on selected days until Monday, December 23! While there are tickets available at the door, they are limited and subject to long wait lines so buy your tickets online here.
- Cost: FREE for children (2 years old and younger) | $12 per person (Online Regular) | $14 per person (Online Peak Tickets) | $14 per person (Limited Tickets at the Door)

- When: November 29 – 30 | December 5 – 7 | December 12 – 14 | December 16 – 23
- Hours: Saturday – Sunday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm | Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 9:00 pm

Indulge in delicious, homemade deep-dish pizza, perfect for a cozy winter meal. Enjoy your pizza in the dining room or on the outdoor deck overlooking the lake.

Santa’s Speedway
Race your friends and family around the go-kart track for an adrenaline-pumping experience. This exciting activity is perfect for those 52 inches and taller.
