Free and Cheap Events in Houston this weekend of October 25 Include Wings Over Houston Airshow, 42nd Annual Galveston Island Oktoberfest, & more!Calling all cyclists in Houston! Go on an adventure around Hermann Park and other Houston landmarks for the annual Park to Port Bike Ride.  The ride will take you from Hermann Park’s Bayou Parkland along the Bayou Greenway trail to Mason Park, near the Port of Houston, and back. Riders of all skill levels are welcome. There will also be two parties along the way with refreshments and entertainment to enjoy. Funds raised from the event will support the care and maintenance of Hermann Park.

Get to see some spectacular sky action this weekend at the Wings Over Houston Airshow! The Blue Angels, the United States navy’s flight demonstration squadron will be headlining the show, making their first Wings Over Houston appearance since 2022.  Guests can also catch sight of the C-17 Globemaster III, one of the largest aircraft in the Air Force, the flying USAF KC-46A Pegasus tanker, vintage aircraft, and more.  The weekend’s festivities will open with the REMAX Skydive team’s 4,500-foot fall choreographed to the National Anthem, followed by a state of performers taking to the skies.
