Quick Hit Summary of the Best Father’s Day Events Houston
When it comes to Father’s Day in Houston, there are a variety of ways you can make your dad feel special.
For a classic dinner date, take dad to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. This is a spot my dad always recommends. In addition to their delectable steak, they’ll be offering a wine tasting of bottles from all around the world.
For something a little more fun with the whole family, head over to Kemah Boardwalk and try out rides with dad! Given that it’s his special day, dad will definitely get great discounts. Don’t forget to stop for ice-cream, it’s a tradition with my dad. We grab a couple of cones, sit on the boardwalk and watch the people go by.
If you’re looking for something a little more unique, George Ranch Historical Park’s pioneer gun class might be what you’re looking for. This event will teach dad how to load and shoot replica flint locks and percussion rifles dating back to the time of the Alamo.
