The Macy’s Downtown Holiday Trolleys are back this season offering free rides throughout downtown. Folks can park once downtown and have easy transportation to holiday venues. Twelve stops feature destinations such as Theater District/Wortham Center, Houston Pavilions, Discovery Green, Hobby Center, Houston Aquarium, and more. Macy’s is offering free parking at the Macy’s Garage during trolley hours, near Lamar and Main. Trolleys run free Friday evenings (6pm – 11pm), Saturdays (11am – 11pm) and Sundays (11 am – 7:30 pm).
Park for free at Houston Pavilions downtown this holiday season with a $10 purchase. Ask stores and restaurants for your free parking card and present with parking ticket at the ticket booth. Free hours are Saturdays 10am – 5pm and Sundays 10 am – 6 pm. Houston Pavilions is located at Clay and Fannin.
A new Downtown Holiday Passport this year provides special discounts to downtown retailers, restaurants, and holiday venues. Discounts range from $1 off skating at Discovery Green, 10% off Macy’s purchase, to free glass of wine or dessert at Massa’s Seafood Grill with entree. Have a chance at winning great prizes when you get your passport stamped by three of six participating locations: Discovery Green Ice, Houston Visitor’s Center, downtown Macy’s, Phoenicia Specialty Foods, Gelato Blu, and The Tipping Point.
