Presenting the 13th Annual Korean Festival! Partnered with dozens of global and local sponsors, the Korean Festival serves over 40,000 visitors and brings a truly exhilarating and spectacular experience to the heart of Houston. The festival is organized by the Korean American Society of Houston.

Houston Korean Festival – Brief History

Since its inception in 2009, The Korean Festival Houston has become one of the most significant free cultural events hosted at Discovery Green in Downtown Houston, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to its artistic presentation and culinary experience.

Did someone say Blk Mkt Birria!? Yes, please! This will be their first year at Korean Festival! Their birria tacos are “so good they should be illegal,” and they’re cooking up delicious Korean-inspired dishes like slow-cooked beef birria Shin ramen and more just for KFest!

KFest Kimchi Eating Contest

It’s gonna get hot in KVillage this year! The KFest Kimchi Eating Contest will return in the Korean Festival Houston! Expect some spicy excitement as volunteers go head to head in a race to finish their bowl of this staple Korean side dish. It’s gonna be a blast!
