Wednesdays are a great day for Houston Rodeo visitors, thanks to Family Wednesday, and now, the new Community Day!
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has revealed its Community Day, which will take place on March 8, 2023. On this day, all guests will be granted free admission to NRG Park until noon.
Community Day for the first time, the Rodeo and will offer a variety of discounts and promotions for attendees, including buy one get one offers on rides and games, reduced-price food and drinks, and community-focused activations.

TC Energy has committed to donating $1 to the local community for every person who enters the Rodeo grounds between 8 a.m. and noon on March 8 through their social impact program, Build Strong.
The Community Day discounts include:
- Free admission until noon
- Buy one, get one deals on rides and games in the Junction Carnival area until 4 p.m.
- Reduced food and beverage prices until 4 p.m.
- $3 mini corn dogs at McKinney Corn Dog
- $3 small popcorn at Kid Shack
- $3 small sour apple lemonade at Squeezers

The Rodeo has also announced Houston Rodeo family Wednesday (formerly known as Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Value Wednesday) on March 1 and 15, 2023.
During these days, there will be free admission for seniors 60+ and children under 12 until noon, as well as similar discounts on food and rides.
