Jazzy Sundays - Free concerts coming to Houston Parks this Fall

Gear up for enthralling Sundays this Fall with free concerts in Houston parks! Discovery Green partners with Buffalo Bayou Partnership, Emancipation Park Conservancy, and DACAMERA this Fall to celebrate the legacy of jazz in Houston.

Jazzy Sundays in the Parks is a free, live music series that has been made possible due to a significant contribution from the Kinder Foundation. The series features free, family-friendly concerts every Sunday in September at Emancipation Park, every October Sunday at Discovery Green, and every November Sunday at Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park.

Free Concerts in Houston Parks – Event Schedule

Emancipation Park – September

The concerts will be preceded by music workshops led by Young Audiences of Houston at 3 PM. The shows will start from 4 PM until 6 PM. The address of the events is 3018 Emancipation Avenue, Houston, TX 77004. The event schedule is as follows,

Discovery Green – October

At 3 PM, there will be a workshop for young musicians featuring Sam Dinkins Dinky Drum Company, programmed by DACAMERA and followed by concerts from 4 PM to 6 PM. The musical action will take place at 1500 McKinney Street, Houston, TX 77010. Here’s the event schedule.

Young Audiences of Houston will conduct a music workshop at 3 PM, and then the concerts will take place from 4 PM to 6 PM. The event address is 105 Sabine Street, Houston, TX 77007, and the schedule is,
