Wherever you may be in Houston this July 4th, you’re sure to see some amazing fireworks display. All you need to do is secure a great spot early!
If you’re looking to watch the fireworks with a special someone, check out the Bubbles and Fireworks Boat Tour at Allen Landing. You’ll get to watch Houston’s Freedom Over Texas without the crowds while peacefully floating along the Buffalo Bayou and sipping on bubbles and having light snacks. Now, isn’t that romantic?
If you’re with family, head over to Typhoon Texas in Katy. The day of July 4th will be filled with good American family-friendly events. There will even be a barbecue and you’re sure to get a nice spot to watch your very own fireworks display. I recommend bringing a blanket if you plan on staying for the show.
Last but not least, if you’re anywhere in Galveston, worry not because the Independence Day Fireworks over the Gulf will be seen all across the island. So start searching early for your perch to get the best views. If you can get to the Island early enough, I recommend grabbing a spot to watch the fireworks on Seawall Blvd. There’s something magical about watching the fireworks explode in bright colors over the Gulf.
