4th Annual Veterans Day Lunch

Celebrate Veteran’s Day at No Label Brewing. They’re partnering up with Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) Help a Hero Program and H.E.B. Operation Appreciation to bring you an epic event to celebrate the nation’s heroes.

They’ll have burgers and hotdogs, live music, inflatables, face painting, an arcade trailer, and so much more!

Come by to support the programs that provide vital resources to veterans and their families in our community.

Free Veteran Benefits Consult (Harris Co. Precinct 3 & 4)

Come out for a free consultation with Harris County VSD’s VA and TVC-certified VSOs to optimize your veteran benefits! If you have ever wondered if you are taking full advantage of your veteran benefits, had questions on applications, VA rating reviews, or even on benefits that they may know of, come out to see them.

Pearland Veterans Day Walk

The Pearland Veterans Day Walk is a 4k (2.5 mile) or 1 mile walk/run that takes place on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, in Pearland, Texas. The walk begins and ends in the parking lot of the Pearland Natatorium & Recreation Center.

On-site registration and check-in will be from 7:15 – 8:15 am, and the walk will begin at 8:45 am. The cost to register is $20 per person in advance or $25 per person on-site the day of the Walk. Children under 17 can be registered for free if accompanied by a registered adult.

Proceeds from the walk benefit local Pearland area non-profits that help Veterans and the families of Veterans battling PTSD and other service-related challenges.

Events on November 11, 2024 – Veterans Day in Houston!

Houston Veterans Day Parade 2024 – Veterans Day Celebration

On  November 11, 2024, the City of Houston will honor its veterans with a ceremony and parade. The parade will begin at the intersection of Dallas and Bagby Streets and proceed east on Dallas, north on Louisiana, west on Walker, south on Smith, west on Lamar, and end at the intersection of Lamar and Bagby Streets.

Vice Admiral James W. Crawford III will be this year’s keynote speaker and grand marshall.

The ceremony will feature acknowledgments and a distinguished keynote speaker recognizing local heroes. At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, there will be a Moment of Silence in memory of the 102nd anniversary of the signing of the Armistice, which ended World War I.

The Buffalo Soldiers National Museum (BSNM) is celebrating Veteran’s Day with free museum admission and special events.

You can view their latest traveling exhibition, The Buffalo Divisions in Action. It chronicles the history and impact of the 92nd Divisions in World War I and World War II.

The event is open to the public but registration is required.

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute

You’re invited to one of the most eagerly awaited veteran events in Houston!

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute will feature a presentation of colors, musical performances, speeches by local dignitaries, and so much more.

You can join the Village troop donation challenge and help the troops! There will be a Care Package Drop Off on site where you can bring recommended items that will be shipped out.

Veteran’s Day Event in League City

League City’s annual Veteran’s Day event will honor and show appreciation for veterans and their families. The celebration will feature remarks from city officials and a keynote speaker. The first 150 attendees will also get a complimentary lunch.

Salem Lutheran School Veteran’s Parade in Tomball

The staff, faculty, and students will show love to the veterans with a lovely parade.

Salem Lutheran School is partnering with the Concordia Lutheran High School Band for this year’s parade, performing a variety of patriotic songs.

Veterans are invited to drive through the campus, where students show their appreciation by cheer them on.

Honor Hour for Veterans in Deer Park

Mix and mingle with veteran heroes in this social group. For a whole hour, you can listen to their stories and maybe share some of yours. There will be coffee and light snacks on hand.

This is a great way to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and play a game or two while honoring them and their service.

Veteran’s Day Celebration in Pasadena

Hosted by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Department and the Pasadena Veterans Committee, the City of Pasadena’s Veteran’s Day Celebration will honor the service and sacrifice of the military veterans.

This event will pay tribute to the 2D Battalion 23D Marine Corps Regimen with a special Yellow Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, accompanied by the Pasadena Scottish Pipes and Drums.

Present will be Colonel Juan M. Mora, Chief of Staff of the decorated and historic 40th Infantry Division, who will be this day’s special guest speaker, Army Veteran James Zenner, Director of Los Angeles County Military and Veteran Affairs will also share some remarks.

More than that, the morning celebration will have activities and exhibits both for kids and adults, free hot dogs, and booths of historic artifacts and military stories. At 11:11 am, watch the spectacular Condor Squadron will fly over City Hall.

Veteran’s Day Ceremony in Galveston

Join the community at Galveston Naval Museum for a memorable celebration of the nation’s heroes and their courage and sacrifice.

This year, they’re hosting a special Veteran’s Day ceremony and unveiling the Taffy 3 exhibit. It’s dedicated to commemorating the valor of the Navy Fleet who served in the Battle of Leyte Gulf during WWII.

This event will have a heartfelt ceremony with live music and a performance by the TAMUG Choir that pays tribute to the brave men an women who served.

Plus, you’ll get complimentary cupcakes, a guided tour, and a first look at the Taffy 3 exhibit.

Presented by M.A.D.E., the 5th Annual Veteran’s Day Thanksgiving Luncheon will celebrate all the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving the country.

The morning will consist of vendor booths for vets, guest speakers, a delicious luncheon, and presentations.
